Praia da Comporta, Setúbal

“Praia da Comporta” is ideal for those who want to spend an excellent and quiet beach day, whether alone or with family, meeting all the conditions for such. Here, you will find a large car park, extensive sand, great support infrastructures and permanent security during the summer months.
Access to this beach is by the A2 motorway, then take the IC1 at exit 8 to km 82 and then take the National 253 to Comporta.
The other option is to follow to Setúbal and take the Ferry that takes you to Troia. From there, you will have to take a small 23km journey to reach your destination.
The price of the ferry is € 15.90 for the car and its driver and € 4.50 for the passenger.
As a final note, this is one of the favorite beaches of the famous singer Madonna, where she enjoys horseback riding along the extensive beach.

Praia de Tróia, Setúbal
Troia is known for its calm sea and its extraordinary view of the “Serra da Arrábida”. To get to the beach, you have to take the boat in Setúbal which costs 7.20 € per person and is free for passengers from 0 to 5 years.
If your idea is to travel only to Troia, it is not worth paying the difference to take a car, but if you want to combine a trip to Troia and Comporta in the same day, you should take the trip by car and take all day to know the region.
In addition to the beach, Troia is a region that has much more to offer from golf, restoration and shows and many other activities allowing you to always be busy.

Portinho da Arrábida, Setúbal
“Portinho da Arrábida” is a small place situated on the slopes of the “Serra da Arrábida” in the natural park with a beach of crystalline waters and white sand and a more rocky zone located to the west.
