The first route of the trip can be made by subway between the Airport and the train station in Rome-Areeiro.

In the arrivals area of Lisbon Airport, there is a taxi rank available to take you anywhere.
You’ll have to take your place in the line of access to the taxis and wait for your turn. It is a waiting period that is not expected to be very long, but it all depends on the time and the flow of passengers who want to access this means of transport.
When you take the taxi, ask him to take you to the Roma-Areeiro train station and from there you can take the train to the village of Sintra.

Leaving the Airport, take the 2nd Circular / E1 in west direction and continue straight until you enter the A37 Algueirão-Mem Martins Freeway.
At km 26, follow thru the A16 motorway and then leave at exit 8 that takes you to Sintra / Colares.
